She's the Great Goddess birthed a new universe into being.

Training & Experiece

I've always been drawn to the 'women's mysteries' concerning the creation and giving life. Conception - pregnancy - birth - breastfeeding - the early dreamy weeks of postpartum when she feels like she's completely fallen apart into tiny specks only to be put together as a different person - I've held in great reverence. Not only as a woman-mother, but a Tantrika -someone exploring the magnificence of human embodiment: the journey of spirit into form, the interplay of  consciousness & energy, the workings of soul & spirit. I'd naturally do 'doula' work (helping my friends) before I'd known it had a name. After assisting a dear friend with a home VBAC birth I felt the inner voice "This is what I've meant to do!", my soul was dancing in her element.

I officially started doula work in 2004. Inspired by the magical freebirth of my son I wanted every mama to have the opportunity to experience the joy, deep fulfillment and empowerment by having the birth she deeply desires. I've supported mamas (and their partners) birthing at home, hospitals and birthing centers, and have learned that beautiful, truly sacred, satisfying birth can be created in any location, and good preparation makes it more so.

And, it's warmed by heart to experience over and over how the support of a doula makes profound difference.

I've always treasured quality over quantity. Being a mama to my own children was my primary job, especially when they were young. Having my clients spaced out allowed me to remain deeply present with each mama, have time to recover and integrate the profound experience, and to show up for another mama with a clean slate, newness and sense of awe of her blessed state. And, of course, the same can be applied to postpartum work, where I like to tune in the needs of the family, and create/sustain a sanctuary for deep bonding and nourishment.

In the in-between spaces I've been providing Ayurvedic bodywork & other therapeutic treatments (included equine-assisted healing)  to primarily women (but not limited to). Preconception and postpartum ( & first 9 months) replenishment outside doula packages seems to take important place.

I periodically update my training & knowledge to be up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines.
